Van Eck Rolls Out High-Yield, Emerging-Markets Bond ETF
Plus, ArrowShares brings to market a global income ETF.
With investors continuing to seek income in a low interest rate environment, yet another exchange-traded fund devoted to high-yield debt began trading last week.
On Wednesday, May 9, Van Eck launched Market Vectors Emerging Markets High Yield Bond ETF (HYEM). It's the third junk bond ETF that Van Eck has launched in recent weeks, following Market Vectors International High Yield Bond ETF (IHY), which holds both emerging-markets and developed-markets junk debt, and Market Vectors Fallen Angel High Yield Bond ETF (ANGL), which holds U.S. high-yield corporates.
