Asian Stocks End Higher on Global Relief Rally

Shares in Asia closed higher Tuesday, as equities bounced back amid hopes European authorities would be able to contain the European debt crisis.

At close, Hong Kong's Hang Seng surged 4.2%, Japan's Nikkei and India's Sensex gained 2.8% and 2.9%, respectively. Mainland China's Shanghai Composite rose 0.9%. Across the region, Australia's All Ordinaries added 3.5%.
