(MarketNewsVideo.com) -- This morning, the Altria Group (MO) declared its quarterly dividend of thirty five cents per share, and increase of about three percent over its prior dividend. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about seven percent going forward.

Shares of Altria were showing modest gains on the news, up about three quarters of one percent.

In other dividend news, Deere & Company (DE) maintained its quarterly dividend of 28 cents per share. Frontier Communications (FTR) maintained its quarterly dividend of 25 cents per share. And BB&T Corporation (BBT) maintained its quarterly dividend of 15 cents per share.

Among dividend increases, Digital Realty Trust (DLR) announced its quarterly dividend of 48 cents per share, an increase of about 7% over its prior dividend in December of 45 cents.
