(MarketNewsVideo.com) -- Pepsico Incorporated (PEP) today announced that it is maintaining its quarterly dividend of 45 cents per share. Rival Coca Cola (KO) this morning announced an increase in sales, lked by emerging markets. Pepsico announces its earnings on February 11.

Investors seem to believe that the Pepsico announcement will be strong, sending shares higher by nearly two and one quarter percent.

In other dividend news, Automatic Data Processing Incorporated (ADP) maintained its quarterly dividend of 34 cents per share. Loews Corporation (L) maintained its quarterly dividend of 6.25 cents per share.

Among dividend increases, Avon Products Incorporated (AVP) announced its quarterly dividend of 22 cents per share, an increase of about 5% over its prior dividend in November of 21 cents.

Among dividend reductions, Parkway Properties Incorporated (PKY) announced its quarterly dividend of 7.5 cents per share, a decrease of about 77% from its prior dividend in December of 32.5 cents.
