(MarketNewsVideo.com) -- This morning, DR Horton (DHI) declared its quarterly dividend of 3.75 cents per share, maintaining the amount paid last quarter. With the dividend, the company also announced fourth quarter earnings of $192 million, the first quarterly profit since 2007.

In morning trading, shares of DHI were trading sharply higher on the news, up almost nine percent.

In other dividend news, Emerson Electric (EMR) maintained its quarterly dividend of 33.5 cents per share. Prologis (PLD) maintained its quarterly dividend of 15 cents per share. And Church & Dwight (CHD) maintained its quarterly dividend of 14 cents per share.

Among dividend increases, Hershey (HSY) announced its quarterly dividend of 32 cents per share, an increase of about 7% over its prior dividend in November.
