(MarketNewsVideo.com) -- Yesterday afternoon, Fortune Brands (FO) declared its dividend of nineteen cents per share, maintaining the amount paid last quarter. Based on the current stock price, investors can expect a yield of about two percent going forward.

In morning trading, shares of Fortune Brands were trading slightly lower, off about one half of one percent.

In other dividend news, Wells Fargo (WFC) maintained its quarterly dividend of 5 cents per share. Monsanto (MON) maintained its quarterly dividend of 26.5 cents per share. Exelon (EXC) maintained its quarterly dividend of 52.5 cents per share. Johnson Controls (JCI) maintained its quarterly dividend of 13 cents per share. And Norfolk Southern (NSC) maintained its quarterly dividend of 34 cents per share.
