Undeniably, 1998 and 1999 were Janus Enterprise's (JAENX) halcyon days. Former manager Jim Goff sought lightning-fast growers. He didn't take valuations much into consideration, but neither did the market. Indeed, the fund rang up gargantuan returns during those years. Since the Nasdaq started to fall in March 2000, however, the fund has taken a beating.
