Has anyone noticed an interesting trend that each time there is a specific article published on MS's website pumping a few specific stocks that they consider undervalued, those stocks inevitably tank within a month or so? The same holds true for Pat Dorsey's picks that he touts on "Bulls & Bears". I've kept a separate watch portfolio of many of those stocks over the past year, and it's down 25%. That's a tall order to do that poorly when the market was going up the entire time. Some great examples are APOL, GMXR, NHWK , MXIM, BAX, ISCA, PFE, and EXC. Every one of those stocks had individual articles sent out touting their virtues (or were mentioned as Pat's pick on TV), and every one of them severely lagged behind a soaring stock market.
