Since the current interest rates for CDs is too low, I am thinking of moving some money into bond funds (in a taxable account). What you guys think of the following allocation (33% in each fund). I prefer low risk. Please suggest. Thanks! FTABX, FGMNX, TGCFX .

I was looking at TGCFX - TCW Core Fixed Income bond fund and it has a good history of returns except for 2005 when it made only .56% and I was wondering why this might have been. Were interest rates on the rise in 2005? Thanks for any help anybody can give me. Steve
