Hello, What is the downside on GNMA funds, like FGMNX, VFIIX or PGNDX ? They appear to have fairy stable 1, 3, 5 and 10 returns and did well in 2008 compared to many other bond funds. Thanks. Jayhawk
difference in 3 GNMA funds: FGMNX(fido), VFIIX(vanguard), PGNDX (pimco). According to M*, their sector weightings are quiet ..... MBS Pass-Through: 90.82%, Cash & Equivalent: 7.07% PGNDX : US Agency 26.34%, Agency MBS Pass-Through: 52.43
