Mutual Beacon Z BEGRX

What do you people think of these two? Began buying them way back in 1995 when Michael Price still ran them. Obviously MDISX looks to be a no-brainer. BEGRX has lagged a bit recently but so have most value offerings. I would find it hard to part with either.

I am 86 yrs. old. Married. We have 4-5 balanced funds with bond portions in them. Reading the posts on bonds, got me scared. Can I keep them? Or should I sell balanced funds? I have BEGRX , DODBX, OAKBX, and VWINX. I guess I need an opinion. Sandy2
