Friax is currently 10% of my portfolio, all in a taxable account. My yield is ~6.75% of which 25 ..... low in October 2011, lower quality debt also took a big hit, but both have recovered now. Why is Friax lagging? playbook
I expected a dividend declaration by now. Anyone know when? playbook
the much anticipated correction and go straight to 1400 and higher on the S&P I hope I won't beat myself up to much. Amecx and Caibx were sacrificed in the sell off, but not Tibix or Friax . I actually increased Tibix by 10%. playbook
How does this fund have a $2 market price? Been around about 50 years. An open end fund doesn't pay ROC.

ray says 46% in equities, but I round it up to 50% due to the low quality bonds held by Friax and Tibix. Here’s the AA: TIBIX 33%, CAIBX 33%, FRIAX 12%, and CASH 22%. If this were a $1MM portfolio, how does one apply standard deviations
Hi Liman. I've been giving considerable consideration to exchanging and selling my Amecx and adding to Caibx and Tibix. The result of this move would mean that my portfolio would consist of 35% Caibx, 35% Tibix, 20% cash, and 10 Friax . M* shows this AA as about 48% equities, but I would bump it ...
than 1Million, test screen shows $2000 minimum - But various discount brokers are showing 1M min for IVWIX and 50k min for FRIAX . Anyone got experience with these at Fido, v'gd, schwab, td ameritrade, etrade, scottrade, Wellstrade? TIA, Joe
FD1000 and others: I found the post 'generating income, preserving principle' very interesting. What if you could stomach some flucuation with a mix of allocation funds (in non-taxable account).that had an aggregate yield of 4-5%, some hi-yielders, some hi-growers- picking 5-8 from the list of World: IVWIX, SGIIX, Paudx, TIBIX Conserv: BERIX, VWINX, FRIAX Moderate: OAKBX(if avail), Grspx(nice yld for group), FPACX, PRWCX, PAAIX Would you feel comfortable about retaining a reasonable yield and experiencing capital growth over time (funds would have to be reviewed/replaced periodically as warranted). The Pimco funds are fairly new but look solid but the others held up great during the last (lost) decade. I'll duck for replies. Thanks, Joe
