    8. rebalance help

      Commentary

      Tue, 27 Jul 2010

Hi all, My wife and I are both 47 years old and have been pretty aggressive with our retirement funds.  We want to rebalance but don't know quite where to start. We are amazed at the advice you all give here on FF and were hoping you might help us out. Our retirement funds are limited to Fidelity only except for the Roth IRAs where we have access to the funds network. The percentage breakdown is: 403b's: 23.61% FLPSX 15.31% FCPVX 13.67% FDVLX 8.65% FLVCX 8.53% FDIVX 6.26% FCNTX 5.73% FVDFX 5.52% FICDX 1.95% FSLCX 1.64% FISMX   Roth IRAs: 3.36% TAVFX 3.09% OAKBX 2.65% SSHFX   We LOVE FLPSX and have watched it outgrow the rest of the funds.  It's probably time to cut back some. We have been dissappointed with FDVLX recently but it seems the only alternative is FLPSX and well... you know. We have also been dissappointed lately with FDIVX. I feel like William Bower has given his attention to Advisor Global Equity since 2005 a hasn't given FDIVX the attention it needs since then. Thanks so much for any thoughts you might have. All best, Chris
