      Since the current interest rates for CDs is too low, I am thinking of moving some money into bond funds (in a taxable account). What you guys think of the following allocation (33% in each fund). I prefer low risk. Please suggest. Thanks! FTABX, FGMNX , TGCFX.

      I am looking fo a core bond fund for IRA. I already have some exposure to FNMIX,ELD, GIM and FGMNX (2.5% each, all totalling 10% of potfolio). I see most people chosing between LSBDX, DBLTX or PTTRX. How do I decide which one of these to chose as core? M* prefers LSBDX and PTTRX over DBLTX. DBLTX ...

      Hello, What is the downside on GNMA funds, like FGMNX , VFIIX or PGNDX? They appear to have fairy stable 1, 3, 5 and 10 returns and did well in 2008 compared to many other bond funds. Thanks. Jayhawk
