Federated Wireless, which develops technologies with the aim of
maximizing the utilization of spectrum resources, today announces that
it filed a response to the U.S. Federal Communications Commission’s
Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (FNPRM) in the Matter of Amendment
of the Commission’s Rules with Regard to Commercial Operations in the
3550-3650 MHz Band (Docket 12-354). In its response, Federated Wireless
applauded the Commission for adopting a three-tier spectrum sharing
network and provided recommendations concerning the elimination of
geographic exclusion zones, which is expected to allow the entire U.S.
population access to this important resource.
