Hospital operator HCA Holdings Inc. shares (HCA) rose 2.1% in after-hours trade Friday, after it raised its guidance for 2014 earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, or EBITDA, to $7.4 billion from an earlier range of $7.25 billion to $7.35 billion.
Isis Pharmacueticals Inc. (ISIS) said Thursday it expects to "significantly" improve on its 2014 guidance, ending the year with a pro forma net operating loss in the mid to high teens and more than $725 million cash.
