SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Apple and Twitter shares rallied to give the technology sector a boost Tuesday, even as the group was weighed down by slumping shares of Microsoft and Google.

results following today's Annual Meeting of Stockholders, all four of
its nominees have been elected to the Airgas Board of Directors.
Air Transport Services Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:ATSG) today announced that
its aircraft leasing subsidiary, Cargo Aircraft Management, has agreed
to purchase two Boeing 767-300ER freighters that ATSG’s airline
subsidiary ABX Air currently leases from Guggenheim Aviation Partners,
Itron, Inc. (NASDAQ:ITRI) announced today that the City of Bismarck,
North Dakota’s water department has selected Itron to help modernize its
water distribution system and will manage the system using the Itron
network deployed by Montana-Dakota Utilities Company (MDU), provider of
electric and natural gas service to parts of Montana, North Dakota,
South Dakota and Wyoming.
