SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- "Call of Duty" publisher Activision Blizzard, Inc. (ATVI) said Wednesday that France's Vivendi S.A. (fr:viv) is offering to sell nearly 41.5 million of its common stock shares in the video-game company. The offer, which represents about half of Vivendi's remaining stake in Activision, is expected to close on May 28, the company said. The last reported sale price of the company's common stock on May 20, 2014 was $20.83 per share, it added. Barclays and Credit Suisse are acting as joint bookrunning managers and underwriters for the offering. Activision and Vivendi agreed to split last year after Activision's five years as a unit of Vivendi.
