Pitney Bowes, Inc. (NYSE:PBI) today announced that technology research firm Gartner has named the company a market leader in the first publishing of Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Customer Communications Management (CCM) Software. Pitney Bowes is one of only four vendors placed in the Leaders quadrant for its EngageOne Communication Suite out of a field of 15 technology providers in the space.

According to Gartner, CCM software enables organizations to create, personalize and deliver communications to customers more effectively via any output channel. Prospective buyers should use this Magic Quadrant – Gartner’s first on this topic – as a starting point when shortlisting providers.

The Pitney Bowes EngageOne Communication Suite has a modular architecture for seamless integration with existing platforms, systems and databases. It enables organizations to gain a more complete and accurate 360-degree view of each customer and efficiently produces targeted, personalized communications. From user-friendly, collaborative content and design tools, to real-time interaction optimization, Pitney Bowes EngageOne enhances interactions across all digital, print and mobile channels. Gartner defines companies in the Leaders Quadrant as those who have scale in terms of market presence and size. “Leaders” have momentum in the CCM Software sector and significant market share based on a solid CCM Software product or family of products. The report cites “Leaders” as high-viability technology providers who have a global presence and are recognized as major vendors in the CCM Software market and are also well positioned with their current product portfolio and likely to continue delivering leading products.
