Intel Capital, Intel Corporation’s global investment and M&A organization, is announcing investments in 16 new technology companies totaling $65 million. Spanning nine countries, the investments will help drive innovations in the cloud, datacenter, mobile technologies and consumer-related services.
Announced at the 14th annual Intel Capital Global Summit held in San Diego, the new investments are part of Intel Capital’s mission of cultivating global innovation by providing entrepreneurs with the resources necessary to scale from startup to global corporation level.
Designed to create growth opportunities for Intel Capital portfolio companies through structured networking, the Intel Capital Global Summit includes a full agenda of keynote presentations, expert panels and more than 2,000 targeted meetings between portfolio company CEOs and key business executives. Portfolio companies attending past Global Summits have gone on to sign business deals with leading corporations across a wide range of industries.

DotProduct (United States) develops high performance software for real-time capturing and processing of 3-D data on Android tablets. Use cases for the company’s Phi.3D software range from creating 3-D documentation for capital asset construction to documenting crime scenes to imaging movies sets for gaming and entertainment applications. DotProduct's technology is designed to take full advantage of rapidly increasing tablet computing performance as well as emerging 3-D sensor technologies.
Wayz Japan (Fileforce) (Japan) provides a secure and scalable cloud file service for businesses of any size. Fileforce enables enterprises to safely store and securely manage, access, share and organize their business files anywhere and any device.
Interlude (Israel) provides a platform for creating interactive videos in which viewers can affect the course of a video in real time resulting in a highly engaging, seamless viewing experience. With the recent launch of Interlude's self service authoring suite --Treehouse -- video creators can now unleash their creativity as they map, build and publish Interlude videos on Web, mobile and social platforms.
Lintes Technologies (Taiwan) provides innovative high-speed connectivity products that expand PC and server capabilities and performance with leading-edge data transfer and communication technologies. Lintes combines advanced custom design capabilities and leading manufacturing capabilities. Products include Thunderbolt peripherals with electrical/optical cable and the Active Link for data center application which cover the data rate from 10 Gb/s to 100 Gb/s.
Perpetuuiti TechnoSoft Services (Singapore/India) offers real-time visibility and “availability management” of business continuity planning/disaster recovery (BCP/DR) infrastructure. The “continuity platform” fully automates BCP/DR processes and brings visibility tied to business impact, allowing single click BCP/DR invocation. Prism Skylabs (United States) helps companies visually understand and optimize offline commerce. Its unique cloud service transforms any video camera into a visual merchandising, auditing and business intelligence tool that can be accessed from any device. Reduxio Systems (Israel) builds a next-generation storage platform that provides capacity savings and infinite data recoverability through unique real-time primary storage deduplication and protection technologies.
Rocketick (Israel) is active in software simulation acceleration for chip verification. Rocketick’s flagship product, RocketSim is a GPU-based software solution that seamlessly attaches to existing simulators and accelerates them by an order of magnitude, thus enabling chip manufacturers to reduce time-to-market of new designs.
Savaari Car Rentals (India) is an online car rental company, offering car rentals across 60 cities in India to both retail and corporate customers.
SBA Materials (United States) develops nano-porous dielectrics. SBA's patented Liquid Phase Self Assembly technology enables the design of advanced siloxane-based materials with a broad range of porosities and a unique combination of electrical, optical and mechanical properties.
