DreamBox Learning® (www.dreambox.com), the leading Intelligent Adaptive Learning™ company, today appointed Peter Biere as its Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. A former Partner at Gottschalk Hardesty and CFO of GlobalScholar, Mr. Biere brings deep financial, operations management and K-12 education market expertise to DreamBox Learning.
Mr. Biere joins the DreamBox Learning leadership team with 30 years of experience in adding value to public and privately held emerging growth and middle market companies across a wide range of industries from educational and traditional high technology to retail distribution and financial services.

In addition to Mr. Biere’s prior posts at Gottschalk Hardesty and GlobalScholar, he also served as CFO at Zones.com and Locate Networks, COO at Evergreen Collateral Consulting, and CFO and General Manager at Lumera Corporation (now GigOptix). In these capacities, Mr. Biere optimized financial structures, drove profitability, shaped corporate development and strategy and created organizational sustainability.
