WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- Humana Inc. HUM reported a fourth-quarter net profit of $192 million, or $1.19 a share, off from $199 million, or $1.20 a share, earned in the final three months of 2011 and matching the consensus estimate of analysts who follow the Louisville-based health insurer. Quarterly revenue reached $9.56 billion from the prior year's $9.06 billion. For the first quarter, Humana sees profit in a range of $1.75 to $1.85 a share. For the full year, the company pegged earnings in a range of $7.60 to $7.80 a share, including about 30 cents a share in investment spending.
