Analyst Note

Longtime comanager Peter Bourbeau is retiring from ClearBridge Large Cap Growth at the end of 2024; however, his replacement has already been tapped, and longtime comanager Margaret Vitrano remains. As such, there are no changes to the strategy’s Morningstar Medalist Rating. Effective Dec. 31, 2024, Erica Furfaro will be a comanager on this strategy and will fill Bourbeau’s soon-to-be-vacant seat. Furfaro started working at ClearBridge in 2019 and covered technology stocks as an analyst. Prior to joining the firm, she covered tech for two sizable hedge funds. Given technology’s outsize portion of the Russell 1000 Growth Index, her experience covering those companies should prove beneficial to investors here. She has supported this strategy as a portfolio analyst—effectively a portfolio-manager-in-waiting role—for the last couple of years. Furfaro is well-versed in the investment philosophy on this strategy and knows the existing portfolio well, so investors should not expect any major changes or disruptions due to this transition.
