U.S. stocks opened higher Tuesday as all three primary benchmarks were trading in the green shortly after the opening bell.
Investors have been trying to gauge the markets through both President Trump's early actions in office and the earnings reports that have been posted from major companies thus far this year. The S&P 500 was in positive territory thanks to seven of the main 11 sectors trading higher, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average and Nasdaq Composite kept pace.
