Workday, other tech stocks retreat early

Tech stocks retreated along with the broader market Thursday and investors showed concern about the latest reports of Russian troops entering Ukraine. Workday Inc. (WDAY) was among the decliners, falling more than 2% following its quarterly results and forecast. Losses also came from online travel-information company TripAdvisor Inc. (TRIP) , as well as Hewlett-Packard Co. (HPQ) , Netflix Inc. (NFLX) and Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN) . The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite Index (COMP) shed 14 points to slip to 4,555.
