Increasing your attention span requires understanding your brain's limitation to paying attention and being able to recognize the ebbs and flows of your attention span. Your ability to focus for long periods of time can be difficult. When you begin to lose focus on the project at hand, do not switch to a different project. Rather, take a few minutes to get your blood pumping again:

Then return to the same task you were working on and choose to completely finish that project before moving on to the next task.
