AuthenTec (NASDAQ: AUTH), a leading provider of mobile and network security, will be demonstrating its newest Embedded Security and Smart Sensor offerings for key customers and prospects at the Company’s hospitality suite (Hall 3.1, HS174) at Mobile World Congress from February 27 - March 1, 2012 in Barcelona.

AuthenTec will demonstrate its VPN Client for Android, its new VPN Client 2.0 which launches VPN via fingerprint authentication, touch-enabled soft card launch for mobile commerce, DRM content protection for mobile (supporting Android and Apple iOS), HDCP protection solutions, and its newest smart fingerprint sensors for mobile phones and tablets. AuthenTec will also unveil additional new offerings that enhance mobile security during Mobile World Congress. The Company will also demonstrate its DRM and VPN solutions at the Giesecke & Devrient (G&D) booth (Hall 8, Stand B65) in combination with G&D’s highly secure mobile operating system MobiCore.
