E.W. Scripps CFO departs after 6 years in the role

E.W. Scripps Co. (SSP) said Tuesday Chief Financial Officer Tim Wesolowski departed the company this week, after six years in the role. The TV station operator said it named Chief Strategy Officer Lisa Knutson as interim CFO, while it conducts a search for a new CFO. Knutson joined Scripps in 2005, after previously working at Fifth Third Bank and Arthur Anderson. Scripps's stock, which was inactive in premarket trade, has lost 2.3% year to date, while the S&P 500 has gained 13%.
