Tax cut will be 'giant, beautiful,' Trump tells manufacturers
President Donald Trump accepted the resignation of embattled Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price on Friday, told manufacturers he's pushing a "giant, beautiful, massive" tax cut, and said he'll decide on a Fed chairman in two to three weeks.
PRICE IS OUT
Trump accepted the resignation of HHS chief Price after making comments that suggested he was close to firing him. Trump told reporters (http://www.marketwatch.com/story/trump-says-hell-make-decision-about-firing-price-tonight-2017-09-29) he would decide Friday about whether to keep Price, whose private-jet flights have drawn harsh criticism. "I'm not happy," Trump told reporters. White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Price offered to resign (http://www.marketwatch.com/story/tom-price-out-as-hhs-secretary-after-private-jet-scandal-2017-09-29).

TOUTING THE TAX PLAN
Speaking to the National Association of Manufacturers, Trump pitched the tax plan unveiled by his administration and GOP leaders this week. "We want companies to hire and grow in America, to raise wages for American workers, and to help rebuild American cities and towns. When we grow American manufacturing, we don't only grow our jobs and wages, but we also grow America's spirit," the president said.
