Although not an imminent risk for the U.S. economy yet, deflation could be very difficult to reverse if it takes hold, says Morningstar's Bob Johnson.
Deep risk, or a substantial loss of real assets over a period of at least a generation, can be caused by deflation , inflation, confiscation, or devastation, says author Bill Bernstein.
The UK economy is forecast to continue its solid growth over the next few years, with temporary deflation helping consumers while political events dominate the headlines.
