India's Central Bank Fines Two Banks, Cautions Three Others

By Nupur Acharya MUMBAI--India's central bank has penalized two banks and cautioned three others for violating rules on customer identification meant to prevent money laundering. The Reserve Bank of India imposed a penalty of 5 million rupees ($79,151) on private sector lender ICICI Bank Ltd.
