John Linehan is a vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc., and T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. He is a portfolio manager in the U.S. Equity Division and a member of the Equity Steering Committee.

John is president of the Value Fund and chairman of the fund’s Investment Advisory Committee. He co-manages several of the firm’s separate account portfolios as a member of the Large-Cap Strategy Team and is the lead portfolio manager for the SICAV U.S. Large-Cap Value Equity Fund. In addition, John is a vice president and an Investment Advisory Committee member of the Equity Income Fund, Capital Appreciation Fund, Personal Strategy Funds, and T. Rowe Price International Funds, Inc. (International Growth & Income Fund). He joined the firm in 1998 and has nine years of previous investment experience at Bankers Trust and E.T. Petroleum.

John earned a B.A. from Amherst College and an M.B.A. from Stanford University where he was the Henry Ford II Scholar, an Arjay Miller Scholar, and the winner of the Alexander A. Robichek Award in finance. John also has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst accreditation.
