The Morningstar Canadian Bond Index includes the most liquid sovereign bonds issued in Canadian Dollars (CAD) by the government of Canada. Returns for this index, denoted as USD, reflect those of the local market, as well as any gain or loss incurred at the end of the period in question, as a result of conversion back to US Dollars (USD).
