Balance Sheet

What is a balance sheet?

A balance sheet is a snapshot of the financial state of a company at a single point in time.

A balance sheet is a financial report that shows the company’s assets, liabilities, and shareholders’ equity on a specific date, usually the end of the month. Essentially, a balance sheet shows what a company owns and what it owes. Along with a company’s income and cash flow statements, the balance sheet is reported on its 10-K filing.
