The 10-Q is the statutory quarterly report of a company’s activities that is filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The 10-Q tends to be less comprehensive than the annual (10-K) filing but provides useful short-term information on a company. Note that the financial statements contained in a 10-Q are unaudited, unlike 10-K (annual).
